Are you looking for a holiday, a tip for a trip or are you just verifying the accessibility of hotels, boarding houses, cottages, restaurants or tourist attractions for people with different disabilities, elderly or families with small children? The ACCOMMODATION & CATERING and TOURIST PREMISES & ROUTES sections have been prepared for you with a database comprising detailed information about their accessibility. Barrier-free facilities are marked with green circle arc and/or 'BARRIER-FREE' certification mark.

Are you the owner or operator of a recreational facility? Do you want to join the database or get 'BARRIER FREE' mark?  Are you involved in tourism development and would like to expand the database to your destination? Find all necessary and useful information in the CO-OPERATE section!

The portal was created within the 'The Beskydy For All' project (2005 - 2008, EQUAL), led by KAZUIST, spol. s r.o. A continuous development of the website takes place thenceforth, either with support of Moravian-Silesian regional authority or EU funds. Since 2012, thanks to the project 'Tourism without barriers', led by KLACR, o.s., the portal contains database of Moravian-Silesian tourist attractions and tracks, and recreational facilities are assessed by newly revised methodology respecting specific requirements of all groups with access needs. Besides, in 2012, the portal was extended with another region - data of sites in The Eagle Mountains and Foothills were collected within a project 'The Eagle Mountains for all' reg. no. 11/013/4210a/452/000006.

Step-by-step, the vision of Social Observatory as a transregional accessibility portal becomes a reality.
