17.02.2009 - According the motto „EUROPE WITHOUT BARRIERS“

Within the official Czech presidency programme, there was a meeting held on 3rd – 4th February in TurÄianské Teplice, Slovak republic, where representatives of organizations of handicapped from Czech republic, Poland and Slovak republic initiated the foundation of a new expert group. The main objective for coming days will be to identify and describe the key problems which handicapped people are facing today. They agreed also on joint actions to enforce implementation of uniform European accessibility standards in their countries. One of the meeting outcomes is also agreement of participants (included representatives of the project Moravian Silesian region for All) on future cooperation in the field of accessible tourism.
